ATTENTION – STATEMENT ABOUT UNAUTHORIZED SALE OF ECLIPSE GLASSES ON PREMISE

Late in the afternoon on Sunday April 7, 2024, it came to the attention of the owners of Wadeson Home Center that an individual employee was using Wadeson Home Center property located at 60 Forester Avenue, Warwick, NY for the private sale of eyepieces represented to be safe to be used for viewing of the anticipated solar eclipse to occur on April 8, 2024.
This individual engaged in the sale of these “solar eclipse glasses” wholly on their own without the prior knowledge, permission, or consent of the owners of Wadeson Home Center. When this private sale was brought to the attention of the owners of Wadeson Home Center, it was terminated immediately.
Wadeson Home Center was not the seller of the solar eclipse glasses and therefore makes no representations as to the specifications of the solar eclipse glasses, or their efficacy in providing certified, adequate protection for viewing the solar eclipse.
